Other DVDFab not woriking without internet

Why cant I use any features of DVDFab without an internet connection? The program will not boot up without an internet connection. I would hate to think that I always have to be connected to the internet to use the program. Is this something that can be changed?

The internet is necessary when you attempt to launch fab and open a pretected disc. It's worked as design.

Understood but I'm simply trying to back up my own personal copies and why is an internet connection needed to burn a disk from stuff that's already on my hard drive?
