DVD/BD Ripper Recommended options for ripping to AppleTV

I've tried ripping one of my TV series to AppleTV. I've tried both the 1 pass method (File size 265Mb) and 2 Pass 'higher quality' pass that gives a smaller? filer size of 165Mb

Both formats are jittery and not smooth..

Has anyone managed to rip a disc to AppleTV and be happy with the results yet, if so, maybe you can share the options you picked?

Hi MattUK!

I'm currently experimenting with this very thing. I presume you're talking about the older (2nd Generation) AppleTV which does 720p?

I've done a couple of rips but haven't had time to play them yet. They play and look good on my computer but I want to see how they come across on the ATV(2).

Once I've verified them, I'll let you know. With luck, I may get some time this weekend.
