DVD/BD Ripper V.8.1.7.6 and prior versions MP4 freezes when ripping

I can rip other formats but when I rip mp4 (/acc), the process freezes consistently around 42% complete. This has occurred on different DVDs and has been happening with the DVDFAB for Mac 8.1.7.6 and the prior version.

I used the DVDFAB for PC for several years and moved to the Mac version in December 2011 so I know how to configure for ripping. Other formats i.e. iPad (w/acc), iPhone (m4v) work fine...it is only MP4 with acc that freezes.

What files would you need to see to diagnose this issue?

Just post the internal.log is OK, so we can repro your problem.

I "fixed" my MP4 Rippwe issue by going back to 2011 version

I installed a version I had from December 2011 and....

PRESTO...I can now rip MP4s w/acc

Something very wrong has been introduced into the DVDFab for Mac code base....I hope that you guys can find it and fix it.

Until then, I will keep the old version and a new version of DVFab for Mac on my machine so that I can rip MP4s.
