In the Common Settings menu I have a check mark for "Check for new version automatically", but it never does and I always have to select "Check Now". Then when it does update manually you have to re-enter your registration information.

The auto update is done between several days automatically. You can update by manual. If you don't want to register after upadate, goto /Users/user/Documents/DVDFab, move HKEY_CURRENT_USER.xml from the old Config folder to the new, such as move it from Config_8.1.6.8 to Config_8.1.8.5.
