Blu-ray Copy My display won't go to sleep with DVDFab running on my iMac!

I have just started using DVDFab v8.1.9.0. for the Mac, having used a PC version for several years.
I am using it on a 27” iMac, I have gone into system preferences on the iMac and set the screen to turn off after 10 minutes, but the screen will not turn off as long as DVDfab is open or running a task. As soon as the program is closed down, the screen will turn off after 10 minutes.
This is a pain because I often leave the Mac on over night with DVDFab running, and it is wasting electricity and my screen. Does anyone out there know if there is a solution?

Also, the disc ejects after burning even when you have ticked "Do Not Eject Disc After Burning" and restarted the program.
