Blu-ray Copy Cinavia Freeze on 8.2.1.0

8.2.1.0 STILL has the Cinavia hang up. It detects that the disc has that protection, I hit ok to continue. Under main menu, selected the title, I wanted, then hit next. Program locked up, beachballed, never went to the second menu before copy.

I used the bluray "Lockout" to test.

Different situation here with Cinavia hang up. Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance
It will load the disc in main movie mode, but it will not let me get out of the first page.
When I click next, it just hangs up.

I'm seeing it here as well. This is with Mountain Lion. Or at least I used to when the disks were still recognized prior to Mountain Lion upgrade.

Ok, still having this problem, using the now current 8.2.1.8 version. After it detects the cinavia, it locks the app completely up. I have to force quit.

I tested this with The Amazing Spiderman Bluray.

Just tried The Amazing Spiderman with the new beta, still beachballs after the disc is read and the cinavia is detected. I was able to use MakeMKV to rip the movie just fine.

Hi Richdmoore,
DVDFab need vso burning engine to enable "Create protected disc（BDMV-REC）to disable cinavia on PS3 with firmware<=4.0 conversion " option. Mac version does not have vso engine, so it doesn't support to back up cianvia protected disc. If your player is not ps3 , you can convert without checking this option.

I was trying to find the option in the settings menu to uncheck the create protected disc, but I couldn't find it. Is the option only present if I have a cinavia disc in the drive, or is it buried in the settings menu somewhere?

Just to update, with the latest release, I have not had any issues with cinavia discs freezing the app. Good job fixing it.
