Blu-ray Copy 6X Discs and Drive only burning at 1.3X - any tips?

Just got this product up and running. Can't complain too much as it works, but would really like to increase the speed of my burns if possible. Have the latest firmware installed, have a blazing fast machine, Verbatim retail BD-R DL discs rated at 6X. However, in the burn screen for DVDFab it shows a consistent 1.3X or 8.5MB/s burn speed. I have changed burn setting from "recommended" to "fastest" - but it's still 1.3X. I know there may be some reliability issues with burning at 6X, but it would be nice to at least be at 3X - that would reduce the burn time from 90 minutes to 45.

I am using Snow Leopard 10.6.8 and the burner is internal SATA LG WH-10LS30.

    Am using 8.2.1.5

    Any tips?

The drive you are using might need a FW update to be able to write at that speed! Make sure your writer is compatible with that type of disc at that speed
    For Win7 C:\Users\User Name\My Documents\DVDFab\Log
    or Vista C:\Users\User Name\Documents\DVDFab\Log
    or for XP C:\Documents and Settings\User Name\My Documents\DVDFab\Log
Please use attachment button and attach your most recent, Internal and Burn log(s)and post right here.
