DVD Copy Network Problems / certificate

    Hi

initially I couldn't get DVDFab working. It was telling me that it can't connect to the internet. ?? Everything els could connect to the internet except DVDFab. I figured out that my Fortinet FIrewall which is doing SSL scanning was passing all requests, but DVDFab can't deal with it. SSL scanning means my Firewall get the SSL certificate, terminates the session, resigns the certificate with it own CS and passes the packets back to my Mac. It seems DVDFab is toing it own certificate verification and if it doesn't match it tells me I don't have a internet connection.
So I added a DVDFab special rule not to use ssl scanning.
Fine, it works. But yesterday when I tried to copy another DVD I got again this message. DVDFab was trying to connect to anohter IP.
Fine, I changed the rule. But this time it hangs while starting a while and then telling me I don't have a internet connection.

So what is blocking DVDFab to start when SSL scanning is switched on? Nowadays this is a default in Firewalling.

Is there a list of IP's where DVDFab is checking the License?

Would be helpful having those information to have proper firewall rules and not to have special DVDFab bypass rules.

DVDFab only connects to https://www.dvdfabstore.com, and our ssl certificate was bought from verisign, the leader industry company.
DVDFab is the all-in-one software package for copying Blu-ray/DVD and converting video file.

Thanks for this info. I will change my rule to use FQDN instead of IP. However, is DVDFAB doing other certificate verifications internally? Because SSL scanners are doing a recertification with their own CA. Means if DVDFab ich check the ssl certificate itself again somehow it will fail if it checks the CA. If so, I have to skip SSL scanning for DVDFab. This would be a nasty workaround.
