Max DVDFab Beta 9.0.3.6 - shuts down iMac during install

I downloaded the most just released Mac dvdfab beta 9.0.3.6, during the install it causes my iMac to do a crash restart. When the iMac has recovered, the dvdfab program is at the point of asking you permission to install the new software, which if you causes the the crash restart again.

Did you install Fab before? If so, did you delete the previous Fab app and Fab folder under Documents before installing the latest? What's more, what's the OS version of your iMac? More info are needed. Thanks.
