    DVDFab Mac 9.0.3.6- Fail Burning

    The new update fails to complete the burning process. Anyone having the same problem?

    More info are needed. Post post the internal log and burn log.

        Similar problem

        Burns the disc but it will only play in the computer not on a DVD deck.

            From the log, it seems the burning is successful, what do you mean failed?

              The dvd plays on a computer but does not work on a dvd player, tried several players and several copies.

                I do not have a Mac, I'm a PC.
                Do you have any other burn logs to post, also what kind of discs are you using?
                Have you tried using a different bun engine in Fab settings?
                Try installing ImgBurn as your burn engine if you can, you will find instructions in the link in my signature on setting it up with Fab.

                  Logs for 9 and 8, 9 wont play in a DVD player, 8 works fine

                  TDK branded -R discs

                  9 works fine when I run my computer in XP

                  Trying to burn the ISO file from version 9 with Disk Utility tonight.

                    Since it plays in your PC and not your DVD player, I'm guessing it is either the discs or the player.
                    Do you have another player to try the discs on?
                    My suggestion is to buy some quality disc, like Verbatim DVD+R with the AZO dye on the package label, see pic.
                    Some older players will not play -R discs consistently, you must use +R disc and set the book-type to DVD ROM
