    Copy "Read error" in Nissan DVD Player

    I've been having a heck of a time making some backup copies of a few of my kids movies to keep in the car. I've tried multiple brands of blank DVD's of both -R and +R. When I copy the DVD I've been copy the movie to ISO and then I write the ISO out later. When I put the disc in my cars dvd player is always says "read error". When I bring them in the house and pop them in my Samsung BluRay they play without problem. I don't get what I'm doing wrong. I was previously using DVD Backup from Aimersoft and didn't have these problems although I had decryption problems on some new DVD's with it, so that's why I bought DVDFab, but I've been totally unsuccessful making copies for DVDFab so far and I'm making lots of coasters.

    The previous stable version did nothing but crash on me, and this latest Beta seems to copy the movie but like I said it won't read in my cars DVD player. I've been pretty disappointed with DVDFab so far.

    Any ideas?

    For a car player try using +R media and e sure to set the booktype to DVD-ROM. Most I've ran into require the DVD-ROM booktype like a commercial release.

      Not sure what you mean by "booktype"? Can you explain further. Sorry

        I found the setting your referring to and it was not checked. I set it and tried once again. No dice... two more DVD wasted. I tried a +R and a -R. I'm attaching logs if that helps. BTW burn speed is set to recommended, and I've also tried two dvd burners and two different disc manufactures. TDK and Memorex. I have not gotten DVDFab to copy a single movie on my Mac. The production version would crash everything single time prior to finishing and at least this beta version doesn't crash, but it won't seem to burn a DVD my player can read. I used Aimersoft to copy this same disc last night and it works fine.
