    Unknown error when installing

After i tried to update DVDFab 9 i got a problem.
When i try to install DVDFab 9 (or 8 for that sake) i get an error message.

Can't install because of unknown error - get help from the software producer.

I tried a fresh install, and uninstalled the version i had, but it didn't help.

Help me, please, because now i don't have any DVDfab installed.

I get same message when i try to install DVDFab HD Decrypter.

(I normally have the lifetime All-in-one package)

If you have Time Machine, use it to recover previous version of DVDFab9 or 8. I've just done it and DVDFab 9 is working again.

I have to load the update on a thumb drive on my windows computer and then install it off the thumb drive on my mac. I don't have to do this each time I update, but most of them I do.

            I hope this helps

I think it's helpful to know if there is any support to a program. It'll give an idea if this program is worth spending your money on.
If only the positive posts are posted then it's not show the whole truth.

Well here is a truth for you: If you come to the forum that the program is paying for and tell people not to buy it one more time it will be your last!

There is a newer version 9120. Download and has a clean install. Deleted the dvdfab folder in document.

If the fab still can not install, give us more info.
Is there some antivirus soft prevent the install? Please give me error info screen shot from breakpoint.
What is your mac version? what version were you use before this issue occur?

                          Didn't work
                          OS X ver 10.8.5
                          No antivirus
                          Can't remember what version worked.
Had problems, but of different kind, with ver 9 all the time, but i was able to install before. Guess that problem starter during the summer with an update.

                              I did.

After i updated OS X to ver. 10.9.1 then it worked and i could again install DVDFab (with same user as before).
I have tried it once after install and it seems to work fine.

                              Merry X-mas to you also.
