mavericks, copying but not able to write.

Upgraded to Mavericks, dvdfab wouldn't load, sorted that out and downloaded the Sept ver9 of dvd fab which now laods, I can copy the disc but it then states looking for writable media in either drive a or b ....it shows the target as being the correct drive, the discs are blank ready to write to but it just doesn't see anything when it's finished copying and ready to write.

Any ideas?

My first one I tried did the same thing. Then I tried it again and it has worked since.

I've tried about 6 times thus far, no good...all very frustrating.
