Subtitles show up on new releases

I've been having trouble with some of the new titles showing the subtitles all the time. I have the forced only checked, but every dang word shows up on the screen.

    Anyone else seeing this?

    Thanks

Depends on how the BD is authored. So far (all) rippers only can flag those subs automatically that are flagged on the BD. If the forced subs are in a separate unflagged stream on the disc, DVDFab won't recognize them and rip all tracks instead which means you have to flag your output manually.

Are you sure that they aren't burnt into the video image?

To check this, play in a software player and analyse what's happening.

I have marked forced subtitles only and it doesn't matter. Now yesterday I finally got star trek to work by using make mkv, then reburying it with handbrake. That doesn't always work though.

I use VLC to test it, so i'm not sure what you mean by analyzing it?
