the iso files created by dvd fab? as in what directory do they go into on the mac? I can't find them

I do not have a mac but, there should be something in settings to show where you're out put file will go . You could also try creating another ISO file and see where it goes for your output.

If you did not changed the output folder, it was output the folder as same as the log directory. Such as me, my defult save folder is documents ->dvdfab 9 ->xxx.iso

For Windows: C:\Users\User Name\Documents\DVDFab10\Log
For Mac: Finder> Documents> DVDFab10> Log
