Problem Rippin Extended Cut Movies With Profile 8.2.2.9

I can't rip any extended cut movies with Profile 8.2.2.9

    Example: Avatar (Longest Cut)

    I used stream 802

    Here is the error message:

    Conversion: one pass: 18:24:39
CUDA GPU acceleration for video decoding enabled
    : 18:24:39
CUDA GPU acceleration for video encoding enabled
    : 18:24:39
    Source( 00049.m2ts )
    : 18:24:46
    Work 1 failed, Error = 504.00 0 error: filter name(native_mux), type(128), id(12), get module_error(502.14 12)

    : 18:24:52

It gives me a similar error message when I try to rip any extended cut movie with Profile 8.

Is there a setting I need to change? Not sure why it won't let me do it. So far tried Avatar Extended Cut (longest cut), We're The Millers (Extended cut), Wolverine (Extended Cut).

Similar error message on each of them.

So I was finally able to get it to rip stream 802 but the sound & subtitles are off to the picture.

I was looking up to see if anyone had this problem in the past & it looks like they did.

Did they ever get this resolved using 8.2.2.9

Unfortunately since they moved to profile 9 I can't find any other versions of profile 8 to try.

I would use profile 9 but moving forwards or backwards when playing thru iTunes gives really blocky artifacts. That's why I still use profile 8 to rip my Blu-ray to iPad format.

By the way I should have mentioned in the first post I'm trying to rip a copy of the longest extended cut to the iPad format from the Blu-ray that I purchased.

Also is there a setting if I rip my Blu-rays to iPad format in profile 9 where I won't get the blocky artifacts when moving forwards or backwards when playing thru iTunes? That would solve everything since profile 9 will rip the Avatar extended cut stream with subtitles in sync.

I would use another player but I want to start my movies thru iTunes so I can use the file artwork.

        Hi,

Did you get the blocky artifacts when playing the movie normally without moving forwards or backwards.

        And I'll try it later.

Did you select multiple subtitles when converting? Subtitle should be selected one only and render the subtitle to video.

          Hi marine92104
Another thing to try is to disable Cuda in Fab settings, see pic

I don't get the blocky artifacts while playing. Only when moving forwards or backwards.

I only selected subtitle 7 English which is the correct one & it was selected as render to video.

So no one else that rips using profile 9 is getting blocky artifacts when playing thru iTunes or Quicktime player when moving the progress bar forward or backwards at the bottom of the screen?

This is a killer for me renewing the software. I had no issues with that in profile 8. Unfortunately profile 8 doesn't keep getting updated since profile 9 got released.

If I can't get this resolved then I won't be renewing my software. I have it for Mac & Windows. Very unhappy customer.

Also I listed a log file showing that I can't rip Avatar extended cut on profile 8 but there has been no response.

                Hi marine92104
Have you tried disabling Cuda as suggested in my previous post?
Sometimes Cuda is more problems than it's worth.

Sorry. There is a check mark in the box like in the picture where it says Disable GPU Codecs for decoding and encoding. It has been like that from the beginning.

Is it supposed to show a check mark like in the picture or not checked? Anything else to try.

No one else is getting blocky artifacts moving forwards or backwards when playing thru iTunes or Quicktime player? I'm ripping my Blu-ray to iPad format.

I'm surprised if no one else is having this problem.

                    Hi marine92104
Yes, it should look like the picture, with everything set to software.
Strange that your log says different
