hi, just wanna share my experience as i just bought DVDfab , and now an external blu ray player /writer , it's not an old model, the external enclosure is pretty neat, the price is soft, it comes with 2 USB cable , one for power , one for transfert, but on my late Imac 2013 and late macbook pro 2013, only one cable is needed , this is the reference of the product, just know that inside the enclosure is a pretty good blu ray and DVD burner, works on windows and mac, on mac no driver needed of course

I bought it on amazon , you can find it anywhere in the world i guess.

I have a late 2014 iMac retina.
I'm using a Pawtec blu-ray writer.
Pawtec UltraSlim External USB 3.0 Slot-Loading BDXL 3D Blu-Ray Writer / Burner - Silver
I have not had any problems. Works everytime.
Looks identical to mac's Apple USB SuperDrive
