Don't understand this really, all my other apps have worked since the day of 10.12 release, why lock it down where others seem to carry on
There's a change in the security of Sierra. In System Preferences-> Security & Privacy, Allow apps downloaded from: they removed the option "Anywhere". I'm not sure this actually keeps DVDFab from running, but it is a change I noticed.

I'm running Sierra and the option for 'Anywhere' is still showing on mine. Adding DVDFab 9 to the apps that are allowed to control the computer does not work either.
I wouldn't count on a new version very soon. Mac versions seem to be an after thought for the people at DVDFab. Just look at the download page and see how long it has been since they have updated the Mac version of Media Player (it's been over a year and it doesn't work right). Settings don't hold, sound gets garbled if you change chapters. They know about it and do nothing about it. Why should they be in a hurry to release a version of DVDFab that will work with macOS Sierra? They already have your money don't they.
+1 for macOS Sierra update. It looks like some of the OSX libraries have been updated (and DVDFab software doesn't know about this). Hopefully a simple recompile in the latest XCode should fix this?!
Really looking forward to getting DVDFab going again

Support for mac has been a little on the late and stability is bad, and very low priority, I also brought the player, and because of not working as expected I stop using it, even tried when some update have came out, but it really never worked as it should.
Windows version should be the best purchase, but for mac test before you buy, as support and updates normally take long time to appear, and that's desapointing

I purchased the player and it was unusable. Went back to Aurora Player.
Too bad Mac is an afterthought.
Sierra is officially launching on Tuesday!!
I am using Leawo Blu-ray player now. It's free and seems to work just fine. They even give updates to keep it running right. Try it you will not be disappointed. Why pay DVDFab for something that doesn't work and never gets updated. Their version of DVDFab is just as bad. It can't use Cuda on NVIDIA cards that people install in their Mac's and will not use OpenCL on a Mac with Intel HD 4600 graphics. Their Windows version will though. Either their people that do the coding for Mac's aren't very good or they just don't care as long as they get your money. I will never purchase anything here again until I see that their attitude towards Mac users has changed. Use Make MKV and Handbrake. They are free and they work.
I'd agree, the reliability and performance of the Mac version is poor on its own let alone in comparison with the Windows version. I've even inquired about transferring my license over to the Windows version but they even want to charge $50 for the privilege!
