Apple won't install DVDFab11065.pkg cannot check for malicious software

I have 11.0.1.5 installed and woking with Catalina 10.15.1, have just downloaded 11.0.6.5 but it won't install as it says “DVDFab11065.pkg” can’t be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software.

This software needs to be updated. Contact the developer for more information.

I have been having this issue as well. I assume that it is due to the Catalina upgrade.

Any idea when this will be resolved?

Please go to the mac System Preferences > Security & Privacy > General, set the "Allow apps to run from" to "identified developers". It should work.
