No trimming possible

I have the latest DVDFab version vor my M1 Mac. Since some releases i am not able anymore to trim videos (mp4,ts,..)... after setting start and end time the program freezes completely....any idea?

without trimming everything is fine...the system hangs when leaving trimming dialogue...
