Allow “Full Disk Access” for DVDFab on a Mac

Allow “Full Disk Access” for DVDFab on a Mac

This “Full Disk Access” permission is assigned on an application-per-application basis. You can’t grant a user global privileges, even if it is an administrator account. DVDFab is safe to use on Mac. If DVDFab doesn't have permission, you may encounter issues like:
    • The external drive letter cannot be shown in the DVDFab Common Settings > Drives section.
    • DVDFab will not automatically detect and load the disc in the drive.
    • If you manually load the disc to DVDFab and start the copying/ripping process, it will run quickly, but you won't have any normal output for use.

Here is how to grant DVDFab full disk access on your Mac:

    1. Open the Apple menu > "System Settings..."  > Security & Privacy

    2. Switch to the “Privacy” tab and select "Full Disk Access" or "Allow applications to access all user files".

    3. On the popup window, enter your Mac username and password, then click “Unlock” to authorize changes.

    4. Click the plus (+) icon and choose DVDFab from the window that appears.
