One of the features from 1.x that I loved the most was the ability to zoom a custom amount effectively eliminate the letterboxing..in 2.x it appears I can only set 4:3, 16:9, or fit to window. Is it possible to bring zooming back? Even better, could a cropping feature (like seen in VLC) be introduced which would allow eliminating of letterbox without losing part of the image?

"Zoom amount" will be added in the next release.
I have tried the VLC crop feature in "Context Menu->Video->Crop", It seems when set to 1:1 will lost part of the image.resigned -
The crop in VLC is from the popup when right clicking the video window, used in combination with setting the aspect ratio...then when you resize the window it fits to the window in that same shape without letterbox.
The zoom feature is the main thing though, thanks for adding that in 2.2, much appreciated!Comment
