Passing bit-stream audio via HDMI to an external amplifier is much improved, using the 'WASAPI' option
I've just noticed that when playing .MKV files containing 7.1Ch DTS-HD MA audio, lines of pixels appear on screen.
By contrast, .M2TS files containing 7.1Ch DTS-HD MA audio play perfectly.
I'll play some more files and report back...
