Player Stops

When I insert a dvd into the dvd drive while playing an already ripped movie off the hard drive DVDFab Movie player just stops and returns to the initial window whith the "Open Files" selection box.

Is there an option to prevent this behavior? I'd like to continue watching a movie while ripping DVDs.
