    Subtitles font disabled

I am using DVDFab Media Player and it is an amazing player!!

I have various movies in MKV format with external subtitles (.srt).

Under settings / subtitle I can change font color (fantastic!), style, outline and other options.

But I need to change FONT and this option is grayed . I need to change font because subtitles are in portuguese language and some characters appear wrong in the defaut font! I believe that changing FONT will correct the wrong chars....

    How to fix this?

My guess it's rather the encoding than the font. Use Notepad++ and set it to UTF-8 or ANSI.

All my .SRT files are in ANSI. I think that is not the problem... By using other players (like POWERDVD, XBMC) chars appear fine.
