Subtitle on dvd disc

I have a dvd file that i can play together with subtitles on computer as i have downloaded the subtitles.i.e.srt.
Now, what i want to do is put that dvd file onto a dvd disc that doesn`t have subtitles and have the subtitles activated with it.
Is there a way to do this please?
