Mac Book Pro 5,2 10.6.8 played a custom video file just fine.

Issues with both versions on multiple mac computers 10.6.8 and 10.9.2 Unable to open and play media by double clicking the media file. Must open player then open media from within the player. -
dhgbrown, I don't know thing one about mac so I'm out of school here but in Windows there are "file associations" that tie a file to a program that opens it. mac OS must have something similar.Attached FilesHow to post the internal log
