Keeping settings on update

I've just installed 2.4.3.2 over the old version (into the same folder) and it has kept snapshot location. But it has not kept my Region code set to B. How come it remembers some settings (reads them from registry) but not all?

All user‘s settings will be recorded during the upgrade process theoretically.
What's your previous version? and we will try to reproduce your problem.

I was upgrading from 2.4.3.1 to 2.4.3.2.
