    Media Player Crashes with subtitles

Since I brought DVD Fab Media Player, the player crashes when subtitles are sellected.

I compress a bluray in m4v apple tv 3 format with dvdfab, then I add the subtitles with isubtitle, exemple, portuguese and english, media player only with video plays well, but when subtitle enters, it simply crashes, and closes.

This issue is present since I brought dvdfab media player licence, to many versions behind, strange nobody else menssion before.

    Any solucion is welcome.

    Thanks,

    Sub-Titles

Ironically, sub-titles is one area where I've always thought Fab MP was significantly better than the competition. It offers the ability to place them, it is very easy to turn them on and off, and you can control what they look like (font, size, color, etc.).

When a DVD disc will play, I always run the movies with subtitles turned on, and have never had any problems. I have, however, been having a lot of troubles getting movies to play recently. Since my settings are to always show subtitles, I wonder if that is playing into my problems I am experiencing with the program not working for a large number of DVD discs?

Edit: I just noticed that you're running on a Mac. I am running on Windows. I don't know what difference that makes, but thought I should mention it.

The problem is that I convert my bluray movies to apple tv 3, and ipad and iphone to stream them from itunes.

To convert the blurays I use the convert option on dvdfab 9.1.7.1 on yosemite, and the subtitles go to a diferent file, after adding the tags the movie plays well.

Then to have subtitles on apple tv and ipad, I add the subtitle files with iSubtitle, then save the file.

Using DVDFab media player, and sellecting the respective subtitle in the file, at que moment the subtilte tryes to appear, the player simply crashes.

Even with original iTunes decripted movies.

Using OSX 10.10 Yosemite, the problem occurs with M4V format, and MP4.

This bug is present for a long time now, it make DVDfab Media Player licenced, a inoperable player for me.

I hope they correct this bug soon, strange the programers dident notice this allready.

      Thanks.

How can I explain, the subtitle is in the movie, like an itunes comercial movie, is sellected by the menu as the soundtrack, ocours in oficial itunes moveis decripted too,

It´s a normal srt subtitle, it occours in all movies, not only on one, all moveis in apple tv format.

To get the subtitle and merge with the movie when the bluray has not one, just use opensubtitles website to get it.

If you want I could post a vídeo on youtube for you to see.
