strange and loud way to read dvds

when i compare fab media player with
vlc or mpc hc
i noticed that fab media player has a strange way to read dvds

first it takes very long until the css protection is broken
and during this the drive is very noisy
(mpc hc and vlc crack css much faster without creating noise)
und during playback dvd fab seems to read larger pieces of the dvds at once
causing the drive to run with higher speed and more noise

mpc hc and vlc play dvds very silent
but with fab media player drive is very noisy
because of the way fab media player reads data from the disc

i tested serveral drives
all are louder with dvd fab media player during dvd playback



some selfburned dvds without css
play silent with dvd fab media player

but some selfburned dvds has to be opened by open > moviefolder and then open video_ts folder
open them as normal dvd will put dvd fab media player into en endless loop trying to read the disc
(old vlc versions had the same prob)

i guess it has something to do with css
dvd fab media player trying to brack css even from dvds which have no css protection
causing it to run into endless loop trying to read dvd
