This Notice is to alert you that the Spring Festival (Chinese New Year) Holiday is underway in China and much of Asia and for this reason the DVDFab Office will be closed until February 4. During this period, support by chat and email will not be available but the forum will be here for any problems you may encounter. Purchases of new products and license renewals may be made normally on the DVDFab website. Thanks for your understanding and Happy New Year!
I had a similar problem.
The player defaulted to the not working speakers on my monitor.
I fixed it by right clicking the volume icon in the tray and choosing Sounds.
There I chose the Playback tab and deactivated the monitor speakers.
Then it used my normal speakers.
Click on the desktop and open the NVIDIA control panel, select the digital audio portion, and turn off HDMI audio then click on the Windows sound button. Test to make sure the speakers do indeed play the tones. You should be able to select the sound card. Worked for me after initial failure with HDMI monitor without speakers.
