I have windows 10 on my computer, I had Player version 3 and the program was associated to all my video file formats but windows does not recognize version 5 as a player. I do not see in the options menu of player 5 the ability to select some or all video file formats either. How do I set video files to be associated with player 5?
Also in version 3 the ability to control the volume by scrolling the mouse up or down and displayed the current sound level in the upper left corner of the screen was returned (it had disappeared from version 2 but finally came back in an update). Once again, updating the version to 5 this time and the scroll control and level status are gone. When will this be returned? I use it every time I play a video, being disabled that is several times a day.
