  • DVDFab Media Player Stutters with Pixar UP!

    Hi,

I'm considering a purchase of dvdfab media player (more on why in a bit).

I'm noticing about 3.5 minutes in on title 100 on the Blue Ray of UP!, the frame rate starts to drop/stutter. The disc was opened with Menu Mode.

This seems to happen with or without hardware decoding.

It does not happen in PotPlayer, nor does it happen in Leawo BlueRay player.

Since neither PotPlayer nor Leawo are configured to use Blu-Ray menus, I figured I would also try DVDFab Media Player with simple mode in case something in the java code is causing the stuttering. In this mode, the player locks up. The logs look mostly clean except this:

    xdisk_date.log
    ---- UDF created for disc [ ...
    exception when getting BDInfo 100 196 [;/BDMV/BACKUP/index.bdmv

    Thoughts? Bad rip?

    Hi Jack,

Please zip the entire DVDFab Player 5 log folder and send it to us.
Also, we need some file of the original disc. Please copy all the files off the original disc except *.M2TS files and then zip them, and attach the .zip file to out FTP. Please check PM for FTP info. Thanks.
