    Minimum specs htpc

    Hi,

Do you guys know the required specs for building a HTPC, to play mts2 files in DVDfab player 5 ultra. The most heavy files will be around 100gb with a bitrate around 85mbps. These files are 4k hdr movies. Untouched uhd blurays.

I was thinking about the following build. With the 1050ti it will support hardware acceleration.

    Intel Core i5-9400F Boxed

EVGA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4GB SC GAMING

    Corsair Vengeance LPX CMK16GX4M2B3000C15

    Kingston A2000 1TB

My goal is to have a stutter free movie.

    Thanks.

a 1050TI supports HVEC/h.265 decoding but you dont need it you just get a regular 9400 with igpu and a motherboard with HDMI 2.0 mostly itx have that if you want the minimum
but a 1050Ti will work fine for 4k blurays with m2ts passed through if you have other uses for the 1050Ti

I am playing a m2ts file, and my new HTPC with above specs gives me random freezes. How is this possible?

I attached the infofile of the m2ts file.
