Something happened with Player 6 and fab 12.0.5.1. I do not know what happened. It occurred in the last week or two. The ripped file is named, for WMP11.AssocFile.mp4 I do not know how this happened. Normally they are named .mp4. Not visiting this site too often so maybe I missed new stuff or warnings. I did not miss any advertisements though., There are a lot I have to ignore before I can rip or play.
I cannot play WMP11.AssocFile.mp4 neither with windows media player nor with Player 6.1.0.9
What can be done to fix this or prevent it from happening.
[BIG EDIT] - I posted too soon, sorry. The file was corrupted. Also, the file ends in .mp4 after all, but I was confused because Microsoft now says the type if WMP11.AssocFile.mp4
