Bug Jump to first menu does not work

    Other Bug Jump to first menu does not work

    Trying it out on Saw V.
    with the option jump on first menu and remove anoying pgcs
    nothing happens.

    If the PGCs are embedded in the video, Passkey can't do anything.

      I don't really care about the pgcs.
      i am talking about the jump to menu.
      it does not work.

      If i rip the dvd, I can use Pgcedit, jump to pgc, make it jump to the menu directly and works.
      I though Passkey uses the same way.

              Tested other dvds.
              Casino Royal R1 wide screen edition 2 disk set
              Does the same thing. Takes me to one cell button menu. that is not really a menu, just a transition between menus.
              Jump to main title works ok. (here to it inserts a bad commad)

              Catch me if you can, just to menu work and just to main works ( except for for the bug bellow, bad command inserted)

                  if you look at the payback time the one that dvdfab put is 0.1 second playback. too fast for even the best of us to select anything.

                  and still illegal command is inserted when jump to title is selected.
                  In this update Wall-e jump to menu does not work too. ( before it worked with 8.0.0.5)

                    Passkey will take you to first menu and it does for your case, it's very hard for program to determine the real menu, maybe we should skip short enough menu (like 0.1s)?

                    For the illegal command, I will fix it asap.

                    For Wall-e, I will check it too.

                      I vote for 3s skips.
                      and for skipping menus with very small buttons. and for menus that have only one very small buttons.

                      you and me know that the menu that passkey pick, is only there for protection purposes, it has not other role.
                      jump to real menu should not consider that a real menu.

                          Maybe you have to take into the account the infinite pause too. I found other movies that have the menu 0 sec but infinite still time. BTW
                          what are you skipping .1 sec right?
                          What do you thing about skipping anything less that 1 sec without still time?

                            Hi dirio49,

                            For now, passkey will jump to first menu with playback time or still time is greater than 3 seconds.

                            I will get Gattaca Special edition and check the problem.

                            Also, the illegal command will be removed asap when I get some free time, since it's minor.

                              Gattaca works great for Jump to menu.
                              The illegal command still there.

                              Not sure why but pgcedit complained of a bad nav pack when scanning the menus of dvds.( Saw V, Gattica and more)
                              Maybe because dvdfab does not remove useless menus.
