    PowerDVD 11 & DVDFab Passkey

    Good morning,

I tried to use DVDFav Passkey using the new version of PowerDVD 11 but the software don't disable the region code of the blu-ray. Do you have the same problem ?

Thank you very much for your help.

    Daniel.

Go into settings for Passkey and select Blu-ray Player Region. Then you can change the region for PowerDVD so that it will play the region Blu-ray you have

I am unable to change the region code, it seems DVDFab Passkey doesn't recognize the new version of PowerDVD

Attached script which works for me to reset changes back to 5.

          Create a backup of:
          [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Cyberlink\Common]
          [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\CyberLink\Common]
          Application Data\CyberLink
          Application Data\PDVD

Doesn't seem so. I just installed the newly downloaded passkey version. Still, PDVD10 is recognized. PDVD11 is not.

Because you removed my sarcastic remark (although it was the truth), would you please let us know when PowerDVD 11 will be recognized, thank you.

Thanks for that reply. There is one more issue regarding PowerDVD Ultra 11. Your workaround "Enable Blu-ray 3D only disk to be played on 2D display" doesn't work aswell with v11. I'm getting the Blu-ray's message of not having a display capable of 3D-playback. It works just fine with PowerDVD Ultra 10. Seems to be the same compatiblity issue as with the region code reset. Please let them know about this aswell.

I'm able to reproduce this error with Disneys Alice in Wonderland 3D. Let me know, if you need more information about this.

                              I never had this problem...

As I read this post I found it weird cause PowerDVD 11 was always recognized
by Passkey. And I've been using PowerDVD 11 months before this post was created.
