When I rip a bluray with the setting 'Keep Protection' in passkey the final iso file is too big when I use my external BD-drive 'Plextor PX-B120U' - but when I rip the same disc with my internal drive everything is fine.
Unfortunately the logfile does not include details about the ripping process, but as you can see the 'got max lba' line shows 2 different values although it's always the same disc (at fist I inserted into the Plextor drive (max lba 24230143), ripped it to iso and got a file with the size '49 623 334 912' bytes - next I inserted into my internal Liteon drive (max lba 24028479), ripped it to iso and got a file with the size '49 210 327 040' bytes).
So the image created with the plextor drive is ~400MB bigger!
Basically you could say the plextor drive does something wrong - but the interesting thing is: when I rip the same disc in the Plextor drive with AnyDVD I also get an image with the correct size '49 210 327 040' bytes!
So it seems Passkey does something wrong when calculating the 'max lba' value and AnyDVD make it right, because it's result is correct.
I also compared the correct and the bigger iso with a hex editor - they are completely identical and the additional information at the end of the bigger file is only filled with zeros.
