I made the mistake of upgrading my PowerDvd 10 to 15 on my HTPC. Was leary because I heard that versions 11 and up implemented DRM protections. Was able to play several backed up BluRays without issue using their demo version, so I upgraded. I discovered last night that Cinavia is covered by it after all, after I lost audio 20 minutes into the first Cinavia protected movie I've tried to watch, along with their bullcrap warning.
I hadn't installed Passkey on that machine since I do all my backups on my office machine. Before I go through the steps of installing Passkey, then waiting 20 minutes to see if it works, can anyone tell me if Passkey Lite will override Cinavia during playback? Not sure if it's just to allow backups, or also covers playback.
