Other What happens to v8 after purchasing v9?

    I upgraded/purchased v9, minutes ago.

In the installation process, the v8 shortcut was removed from my wall, and was replaced by v9.

I went in my control panel----->programs and functions, I see that v8.2.8.5 is still there. Since I now have v9.0.0.2, is it safe or recommended (or not) to uninstall v8.2.8.5 from my machine?

    Hi,

It's safe, but it's better to clean uninstall the old version and then install the Passkey 9.

Please post your logs the default location is:
    For DVDFab 13: C:\Users\User Name\My Documents\DVDFab\DVDFab13\Log
    For StreamFab: C:\Users\User Name\My Documents\DVDFab\StreamFab\log

      Too late!

As I stated, v9 removed the v8 shortcut that was on my wall, in the Process of v9 installation.

v9 is now installed and activated.
I took a chance, and hope for the best. I uninstalled v8.2.8.5 from my Control Panel---->Programs and functions---->Uninstall

I guess we'll just have to see what happens from here.

Is there any other/better way to be sure???

keep Passkey 9 only. Not need to keep Passkey 8 on your PC.
