Passkey and Recode help

I tried it with Nero Recode but Nero failed to fit title to targed .
So , I switched to DVDShrink and could afterwards use either Nero or ImgBurn .
Definitely a great tool !

What Version of Recode did you use, it worked perfectly with the new Nero 10 Suite .

Note I' m still hesitating to upgrade to N10 since NR7 works fine with HD Decrypter , the free stuff from Fab but Passkey is faster . In your opinion , what are the other advantages with Passkey ?

To avoid any misunderstanding , here are two screenshots of my NR 7 , one showing the result with Passkey , the other one , attached to my next post , the result with HD Decrypter . As you can see , NR 7 fails to fit title to target ( compressing ) , whisle working fine with HD Decrypter .
I' m sending you both posts because your previous attachment does'nt show if the title has actually successfully been compressed or not

No you are not bothering me at all, I also have Nero 7 but its not installed. I have 8 and 9 also LOL. Nero Recode in Nero 10 is a whole different program IMO, my computer is one I built myself so we cannot compare times for encoding because unless your specs are the same as mine its not fair. But we can compare whether Passkey opens the discs and decrypts them. I am assuming that because I use a 64bit OS it will work on a 32 bit system also. Recode in V10 does not need the Advanced I/O Mode. It reminds me of Shrink if Shrink were updated. I looked at your screenshots, does the disc open? If so di you try all the options in Recode? You can burn " On the Fly " with Recode if there is no compression, always a nice option. Every once and awhile you get a disc that does not calculate the compression correctly, when this happens you have to use the " Advanced Analysis Mode" it will correctly fit the movie to DVD5 from DVD9, plus you get a better job of encoding. Try it and let me know.

I looked at your screenshots, does the disc open? If so di you try all the options in Recode? You can burn " On the Fly " with Recode if there is no compression, always a nice option. You are right when saying you can get a disc that does not calculate the compression correctly and yes , the disc opens and yes again , I have tried all the options in Recode . I tested several discs and it appeared I only have this issue with " Casino Royale " . So , as you sayed , it's the disc and not Passkey .
Now , NR7 still fails compressing this specific title in spite of using the
" advanced Analysis Mode " as you can see on the attached screenshot .
No big deal however , I can use one of the other ways to fix the issue when needed .
For your info , I' m still using XP but am about to upgrade to W7 ( 32 bits because my processor is outdated ) .

Strange enough but you maybe could explain this , it works if I first incode the uncompressed title to the HD and reopen Recode again to compress and write it on a Dvd 5 .

I know , I thought I explained that in my previous post. But you are correct, it works, and if it weren't free I would buy it as soon as it becomes available for sale, because the prices never go down , they always go up so be ready my friend.

Thanks Grunon, I already did and it works perfectly. I have many DVD Copy programs, but Fab was always my favorite. Now that Passkey exists I will buy this also, Fengtao has never let me down and I have been a customer since V2. Best company out there.
