passkey doesn't work on my PC.
I made the dumpfile of passkey.exe on the taskmanager.
But the filesize is very large,so I uploaded it in megaupload.

Passkey had worked till the week before last on my PC(windows7 32bit).

I have done "system restore" many times in last and this week
,and then Passkey doesn't work on my PC.

Passkey.exe appears on the process in the taskmanager,but an monkey icon doesn't appear on the task bar on the bottom-right corner.

OK, well use the uninstall located in Start-Programs-DVDFab Passkey 7. Once removed you will need to use and if not have you can download it and install as it free. Run both the Cleaner part and the Registry part until nothing shows. Once that is done you can download Passkey again and install but you will need to right click the download and select install as administrator. Once that is done let us know if it works or still problem.

I always use CCleaner.
I have already done what you said many times,but an monkey icon doesn't appear on the task bar.

For confirmation I done what you said again,but passkey didn't work.

Could you post your filter list and to do that you need to download and install ImgBurn. It free program and once installed go to tools-filter drive load order and copy to clip board. Then in your post reply to this thread you right click and paste the results to the post reply. Not sure if this problem but would like to know if a filter is installed that can conflict

I made a filter list by using ImgBurn.
It contained other company's products,so you may be offend.
But I have already bought All products (DVDFab series) made by Fengtao.
If Passkey can rip BDMV,BDAV and AVCREC discs,I will buy it,too.
(Simply,I like to buy duplicate softwares.)

After I made this filter list,I tried uninstalling AnyDVD and CloneCD and removing GEARAspiWDM.sys.
And then I reinstalled passkey,but passkey didn't work.

Please investigate what conflicts passkey.

Maybe caused by Data Execution Prevention, please uninstall passkey, and do a fresh installation again.

there is a product called pc tune-up by largesoftware that maybe able to find deeper issues in the registry
the only problem i am seeing (only if you are on a budget) is that the company wants $30 for the software
since i am using zonealarm security suite i was able to get the basic version free (sorry cant find the link again)

i had the same problem...

it took me a while to figure it out
all Passkeys worked up to DVDFab Passkey 7.0.3.5 Beta
when DVDFab Passkey 7.0.3.6 Beta was relished i installed it
humm.. kept crashing out, no monkey face in task-bar whats going on

well to my surprise if you have anydvd installed with this version it wont work period

I've uninstalled anydvd and it works perfect all the time
except for some odd times it'll come up with an error box saying you will need internet connection please allow through network/firewall
funny thing is its enabled though firewall and internet connection is permanently on ??

I reinstalled windows7 32bit,and installed Passkey7.0.3.6.
Passkey worked well to rip BDAV discs.

I tried to rip an AVCREC DVD disc.
I inserted an AVCREC disc to a DVD-Drive(Liteon LH20A1S).
Passkey failed in AACS Authentification,and I couldn't rip AVCREC.

Next,I inserted this AVCREC disc to a Blu-ray Rom Drive(ASUS BC-1205PT).
All of a sudden,my PC was freezed.I did computer restore.
I reinstalled Passkey 7.0.3.6,but it didn't work as before.

So I am reinstalling windows7 again now.

Passkey doesn't only work to rip AVCREC,but also has crash problems.

Sorry for the problem, since we don't have AVCREC disc, it's impossible for us to test it.

DVDFab Passkey should not crash system, it should only crash itself. BTW, did the crash report window pop up?

We will work it out with your help.

driver compatibility

I found the reason why Passkey hadn't worked on my PC before!

Maybe,Passkey doesn't have compatibility with PeerGuardian,Bitdeffender,Cyberlink InstantBurn5.
Even if one of these programs has been installed,Passkey doesn't work.

I realized this fact and uninstalled these all programs on my PC.Since then,Passkey has worked.
