video coveter does not finish

When i try to convert a fv to wmv it never finishes ..
??? have to cancel then select finish
and the tail end of the video is not there...did not convert....
happens every time i try to use this program

Hi sodakman,

Please post your log files in detail. The default location is like:
on Win7 C:\Users\User Name\My Documents\DVDFab\Log
on Vista C:\Users\User Name\Documents\DVDFab\Log
Then we will base on that to check where the problem is. Thanks.

I get the same error

When I try to convert a youtube FLV to AVI (tried a couple of different flavors), it runs to 100% but never completes. On 2 of the three the avi plays OK but on the third one all I get is video but not audio.

Try going into common settings of DVDFab and change the A/V Codec settings to Software for all choices as you using the DXVA GPU and it not work correctly

That worked !!!

I changed the setting from DXVA (for H.264, VC1, and MPEG2) to software. Now it completed and I got sound as well... Thanks a bunch
