Video Converter

I've been trying to use the video converter to convert mp4 files to iPod files yet EVERY time I start the process it fails immediately. I'm using the latest version of DVDFab & I have also tried changing the decoding/encoding options from the default to software only, but it makes no difference.

Here is my log file output, though it doesn't look much use to me:

I've tried searching for this error code but I haven't been able to find it anywhere, I hope someone has a clue as to what it means & how to fix it as it's very frustrating!

Video Converter problem

I've gotten the same 504 error code when trying to convert an MKV file to MP4 for Ipod.

Getting the same error converting wmv to ipad mp4, wmv originally created with dvdcopy. This has been happening throughout the QT series.

Works in mono sound

If you use the iPod/iPhone/iPad profiles
Then if u use mono sound it works.
In the mp4 profile all the sound settings work
I think there is a problem with acc code ???

Same error in Mkv to Ipad conversion

Hi, I'm trying to convert movies in mkv to ipad format. In my Vaio with Windows 7 ultimate and DVDFab 8.1.1.2 Qt, the conversion crash when only was working 10-15 minutes. Notebook shutdown itself.

In other notebook with windows xp the process of conversion don't shutdown pc but crashes and give this error message in log file:

got my video converter to work with ipad

i was having problems to and had to use a workaround (MP4) profile but i have got a way to sort the ipod/iphone/ipad profiles
You have to download the profile editor off this site and edit the audio part
to stereo sound then save with the same name ,in my case "ipad_template.xml
then copy over it in the data dir
