    Process Failed WMV

    Hello

This is a problem but not really a problem.

I'm ripping 3D Blu Ray ISO's to two separate left and right WMV files

I'm using the WMV.WMA10.3D profile but crank the audio bit rate up to 5.1 448kbps

This is the only profile I have found that then lets me rip the WMV files to a mp4 file in [other program] to produce a smooth playing, uncorrupted full resolution 3D video image using an ASROCK ION 3D Home Theatre System, if I try and use the WMV's straight out of DVDFAB playback is too jerky.

So I'm happy I can take any 3D Blu Ray ISO and produce high quality full res 3D but this one weird thing happens in DVDFAB right at the end of the process. When encoding is complete 100% DVDFAB pops up with an alert saying PROCESS FAILED! but it hasn't it produces perfectly usable files.

Just thought you might like to know, also any other file type MT2S, AVI, MKV encode without the warning but I haven't been able to reproduce the same quality of image. A great test piece is the Bob's Big Break 13min 3D clip out of Monster Vs Aliens 3D Blu-Ray the titles at the start are corrupted with any other file format apart from WMV which encodes perfectly.

    Cheers

    Hi bussty,

Can you post your entire logs for reference? Thanks in advance.

Please open Common Settings/Diagnosis, find the "Directory" which is like:
    on Win7 C:\Users\User Name\My Documents\DVDFab\Log
    on Vista C:\Users\User Name\Documents\DVDFab\Log
    on XP C:\Documents and Settings\User Name\My Documents\DVDFab\Log
, please post all the log files. We will check where the problem is.

    Sincerely,

        Hi bustty,

Please open Common Settings->General->A/V Codec, tick the "Disable all GPU codecs for decoding and encoding" check box. Click on OK.

Then give WMV.WMA9.3D profile a try, don't set it as default, just apply the initial WMV.WMA9.3D to rip one short title of your 3D movie to see the result.

          Hi Sunny

Same result with either WMA 9 or 10 with GPU encoding off.

          Regards

          Bussty

              SAme issue in v9.1.0.2

I cannot rip any format of WMV files.
Guess I'll be reverting back to a previous release than this beta.

Nice new interface, though - I love it , but it's pretty useless if I cannot rip to WMV files.

              Thanks
