Audio and Video Out of Sync

I am running DVDfab Video Converter version 8.1.1.2. I am trying to convert "avi" file to iPhone4. The audio and video are fine in the original file, but the converted one via DVDfab has the video running much faster. The settings I am using are:

    profile: iphone4.h264
    encoding method: fast (1-pass)
    audio format: bit rate 96kbps

What can I do to fix the problem?

      Settings were already on software

Thanks for your reply. All four drop down boxes on the A/V Codec page were already set to "software" before I converted the file to iPhone format.

Thus, I still have the problem. Any other suggestions?
