I have been a long time user of DVDFab, but have started to lose my cool since the 8. series. My primary use lately has been converting avi and mkv files (with and without subtitles) to Apple TV format.
Each release has a new and exciting way of failing – aborts, sound sync, choppy playback and stalls. When DVDFab does work it is an awesome product but it’s stability has forced me to look for alternatives that work.
Current version 8.1.2.5. QT aborts during avi conversion or hangs. Log is attached.
Yet, [other software] always converts the files but does not support burn in subtitles. So, if I need subtitles I am forced to use [another software] that does work for subtitles.
Is there a version of DVDFab that has solid conversion code?
