converting avi's with region free?

Hi!
Newbie here and i have a quick question, is it possible to convert and burn avi files (or any video format files for that matter.) while removing the region free codes from them?i know you can do it when copying dvd's. the reason i ask this is that i have a large collection of movies on my hdd that i'd like to put on discs to play on my Rotel RDV-1092 which is a region 1 and has no known hack for it as far as i know.

Fab will not convert AVI's or any video files to DVD format. You need an authoring package to do this.

Fab will also not just burn the AVI's to a DVD.

AVI's have no region encoding anyhow!!!

If your Rotel will play standard AVI's, just burn a data DVD with the AVI's on it with the burning software that came with your burner.
