Convert to iPod / mk4 always fails..

When I try and convert avi / mk3 to mp4 or iPod, I always get the following error:

    Conversion: one pass: 14:07:10
    Work 1 failed, Error = 504.00 0 error: filter name(native_mux), type(128), id(11), get module_error(502.14 13)

    : 14:07:28
    Process failed!: 14:07:28

I have tried this on 2 machines, and disabled hardware in settings. Same error..

    Anyone shed light on this?

    Thanks

Still the same (I ment to say iPhone, not iPod!!)

      Here is the log:

(Note I have used a flv, but get the exact error with avi, mkv. I have managed to convert 1 mkv file though!)

chris_uk, this part of the error leads me to believe there is a problem in the registry: "get module_error(502.14 13)"

        1. uninstall DVDFab
        2. download and install ccleaner if you don't have it.
        3. browse to C:\Windows\prefetch and delete all the files that begin with dvdfab and fabcore if present.
        4. run ccleaner on the registry until no errors are found, may take several times and no need to save anything.
        5. download the most current version of DVDFab and install.

Huh? scrubbing the registry usually gets rid of the xxx.xx.13 errors?

I just tried it too and got the same errors. This will need to be looked at by the devs. Sorry I sent you on a wild goose chase

I verified that this can be done with some other software, so this is a bug. The developers will fix this in time.

                          Don't buy dvd creator

I have the same problem - conversion of mp4 to dvd always fails; also other formats (except avi) fail to convert. I have contacted the help centre and their suggestions all failed. A request for a refund was denied.
