2 Pass Encoding produces always a useless file

Hello, I have a serious problem with Video Converter:
no matter which video file I choose to convert, or in which format, every time I select "2 Pass Encoding", after the the 1st pass the process jump at the end saying "Process Completed Successfully!", but producing a usuless file of zero byte.
    This happens always.
I have already selected Video Decoder on software on the option tab, so no CUDA acceleration.
    Any other help? Suggestions?

Also using 1 Pass Encoding I have very often A/V Synch issues from the middle of the file until the end.

I will post a log for the 2 Pass Encoding problem.

two pass is of little use, just use one pass and see if the result is better.

Thank you, I will follow your suggestion.

Unfortunately I get always A/V Synch problems converting files I have ripped with DVDFav Blu-Ray Ripper, using generic.h264.mp4.acc profile; any advise?

      Again, thanks.
